POETRY/STORIES
AS SEEN THROUGH A FILTER
Hot white breath
murky mellow
teeth could break bread
In shadows deep
settle down low like turnip root
turned my belly inside out
trees so limp
we lived among bark and broken limbs
call to the blond shy faces
leaking shiny lemon girls who smell of sea
envelop me in dark rooms
weary with sweat on tattered walls
my shiny image spread

Death reared its ugly head over me, dripping its milky white juice like a deceased falafel............... famous quote by Moldred
SYNTHETIC SNOW
words that mold
mesh to form
to fold around
the belly of apricots
napes of necks
where saliva puddles
to frost a tree of
styrofoam, to break a
man with pennies
too cold to cough, too
infected to settle
head to pillow
to mate without
future thought
crunch of foot to
stick and twitch of
eye to mix
of soiled sheets and
ziplocked hearts, to
microwave meat and
they dont say that
word of yes because it
might mean bitting down
to the pit of the peach
